Interior Designer: Profession and My Point of View [Pt. 4]

"Interior design" is my personal favorite profession. In this section, I'll share why it stands out to me and why I aspire to become an interior designer. My journey with interior design began in grade 7 when I first learned about this profession. From that moment, I was captivated. I started exploring it more deeply and found myself increasingly drawn to it. I love DIY projects and decorating spaces like bedrooms and living rooms, which further fueled my interest.

Now, let’s talk about the field itself.

Education and Training: Interior design offers various educational pathways, each with different time commitments. You can pursue a bachelor's degree in interior design, which typically takes about four years, or opt for a more extended program that might last up to six years, depending on the institution and your personal pace. After completing a bachelor’s degree, you can continue with a master’s degree to deepen your expertise.

The difficulty of the coursework can vary. For some, it might be challenging, while others find it manageable. Your educational journey will shape your career, as different levels of study and experience can lead to different roles within the profession.

Career and Earnings: Job prospects for interior designers depend on your education and experience. This profession is both enjoyable and occasionally stressful. Many people are drawn to it because of their passion for design, and I am no exception. As an interior designer, you have the opportunity to bring your creative ideas to life.

Earnings in this field can vary significantly. For someone with less than a year of experience, the average salary is around $55,000 per year. With over ten years of experience, this can increase to about $100,702 per year. Salaries also vary based on project types, locations, and cities.

Skills and Qualities: To succeed as an interior designer, you need to study hard and develop strong creative skills. This profession requires you to think critically and generate innovative ideas. It’s also important to be confident, cooperative, and understand client needs. The work involves studying subjects like science, math, and geography, which adds to its complexity. Being able to read and anticipate client preferences is crucial—almost like reading minds!

See you in the next one..

Bye..   :)

The Unveiling of a Friendship..

Hi everyone. Today, I’d like to share a story about my friendship. Alright, first let me tell you how we met. Like many others, I was at school when the teacher made me sit next to a random girl. That random girl eventually became my best friend, though I’m not sure how it happened. Our vibes started to match, and soon we were close for almost a year. She was great—she still is, really. I’m the kind of person who listens to everyone but shares my innermost thoughts with only a few people, and she was one of them. Unfortunately, I soon realised that the way I thought was wrong. She always put herself first, and then she’d think about me. But for me, it was the opposite—I always put her first. Eventually, I noticed that while I was prioritising her, she was maintaining her bond with her other friends. Being a soft-hearted person, I decided one day to ignore her, thinking that she might care and ask why. But she didn’t ask anything; instead, she went home and messaged me, saying, "D...

About Me..

Hello everyone who is reading this blog. This blog is going to be about myself. I'm Zohara, and I'm 15. I'm not sure where my interest in blog writing came from. Maybe it was from watching some series where one of the characters was a blog writer, or perhaps a story writer. Because of that, I'm now interested in blog writing. I'm not going to worry about whether anyone is reading it or not. I'll just write about random stuff, but I think it won't be interesting if it's too random. It might be boring, but I'll try to write about interesting things. By the way, writing isn't my passion. I'm interested in studying architecture and interior design. Maybe sometimes I'll write about that, or sometimes about my school studies, or about what my teenage friends and I are feeling and going through. Sometimes I'll write blogs daily, and sometimes I won't be able to write for a week. Anyway, I don't have much more to say. I don't thi...

Siblinghood

Hi there. Today I'm going to talk about siblinghood . By the way, I have two elder brothers, so we are three siblings. The first one is the eldest brother, then the second elder brother, and then there's me, the youngest sister. For the purposes of this blog, I'll refer to the eldest brother as "Brother" and the second elder brother as "Bro." Alright, I have a good relationship with Brother; we play online games together, and sometimes he brings me what I want on his way back home from work. However, with Bro, my relationship is even better—we spend most of our time together. We not only play online games but also share conversations. We know each other better than we know our eldest brother. Both of them are annoying, but as their sister, I'm the most annoying of all. I never tell them that I enjoy spending time with them because they never take me seriously—never, ever. You know, for me, siblinghood comes before friendship. It's through siblin...
